Unfortunately this wasn’t it. It lacked seasoning it needed a lot of loving. I thought it would be good when I saw their Instagram but that wasn’t the case. To each their own but I wouldn’t do it again. The chips and salsa wasn’t good either the salsa tasted like it came out of a can.

I recently ate at El Agave Azul. I ordered the birria quesadilla and the birria tacos, which were fabulous. The quesadilla was gooey with melted cheese, onions, cilantro, and perfectly cooked shredded beef. The tacos and the birria sauce were delicious. It was full of cilantro and onions and had a great flavor and shredded beef.

I had this delivered so didn’t know what to expect. I ordered a California burrito… Clearly I was wrong because this ain’t no California burrito what I normally get where there was so much meat but this one was like a thin layer of meat if you can find it between the frijoles and arroz, which filled 2/3 of burrito, and I can say this was nothing special. Next is the barria taco… This was my first one so I really don’t know what it should taste like but I hope the next time I order it from somewhere else… It’s not going to be like this one. Salty! Couldn’t enjoy it so I ate it with the burrito because it was very bland and no soul in the meat…. Needless to say, I’ll order from somewhere else next time.

Horrible experience!!!!! This was our first time coming to this place and by far the worse restaurant we have EVER been to. The food was extremely salty, we found a total of 5 ants running on the pizza (birria pizza) trays. We mentioned this to the server who he brought it to the manager’s attention (Ruben), who did NOTHING about it! The prices on the menu are completely different to the ticket. Ruben stated that’s because if you paid cash they will charge you what you see on the menu but if you pay with a card they will charge you a percentage more. After I expressed my frustration, Ruben went to the cashier and came with a gift card for our next visit (I did not take it because by no means I am coming back to this place). He stated there is NOTHING he can do!!!! Are you kidding me? He did not even offer to change our order right after I found 5 ants running around, remake our food, or even give us a discount on our tickets??? So what are mangers for ??? If I could give them a ZERO I would! So disappointed!!! By the way AGUAS FRESCAS are not homemade and none of their drinks have a refill!!!

Ordered the birria tacos to go. Not ideal having them to go but I toasted them back up in a frying pan once I got home. The disappointing part was the bland, thin consomé. It doesn’t look anything like it’s supposed to or used to. Everyone knows the consomé is the best part of birria tacos. The queso was good and thick though! Pretty disappointed for a 30 minute round trip.

Got the Saturday night special as well as birra tacos, carne asada taco. They were all excellent and had great flavor. Portions are large and I had leftovers for 2 days. Wish they had black beans but the refried are still good. Staff is friendly and helpful.
