This is a true 2 star Michelin place. They have a secret cook who turns out delicious masterpieces that no one has seen the likes of. Try the daily specials they are unbelievable. And don’t be fooled by the low priced margaritas, they come with a ticket to heaven.

I ordered the braised pork shank. 2lbs of meat! It fell off the bone with perfect seasoning. We came here before once it was featured on Check Please. They doubled its dining room size since our last visit. Very attentive customer service and a well laid out dining room. The flan for dessert was outstanding. Good stick in your spoon and stand density and just sweet enough. I highly recommend this spot. A little tough to spot off Contra Costa Blvd. Right off Ellenwood.

Food is very fresh! Delicious and very versatile. Loved the lamb Taquitos. Shrimp tacos my spouse had were awesome. The enchlitas were different but very good. But I can’t help thinking it was a little pricey…service was good.

Let me preface this review by saying that I almost didn’t even want to write this review because I actually thought there was a chance that this had to be a fluke. I’m not sure. Take note, I don’t think I even have ANY one star reviews in all of my time writing them on Google Maps.

Super friendly people service was down but I really wanted to try due to all positive reviews. That being said, hands down WORST burrito I’ve ever had. Rice was not good. Beans were also just as bad. Had three bites of burrito and just tossed. Carne asada taco was very good tho. Will not be coming back to this establishment, not authentic Mexican food.
