Different than most Mexican restaurants. Seemed more authentic, though since I’ve never been to Mexico I really don’t know. Prices seemed lower, too, and the food was really good. Enjoyed looking at the posters they had on the wall…I remember one was about the different varieties of corn different cultural groups grow.

Authentic Mexican cuisine. It was our first time trying cactus! We like how they put fresh peppers out with the condiments. Not great ambience for atmosphere, but that’s when u know the food must be really good, which it was! We really enjoyed everything both times we’ve gone.

I would like to give place 5 stars because the food is actually great but the service is so slow. I had to wait over 30 minutes for my order. They make you wait until it’s your turn which of course sounds fine but when you order soup and tamales which are both premaid and you know all they need to do is bag it up and hand it off becomes frustrating. Don’t come here if you’re pressed for time. They don’t care.
