First of all they had this in their menu along aside with everything mark at $14.99 . To my surprise when it was time to pay the lady tells me it’s $30 and prices range from 14.99 to $30.??! .. second I get to my job to find a lame presentation for food. False advertising and misleading prices that should be told to the customer upfront.. esto son mamadas.

This is one of my favorite spots for authentic Mexican food. I had to bring my mom and stepdad while they were visiting to witness the greatness of El Balcón. They were amazed at how authentic the food was (even said it was better than anything they’ve had in Texas). Highly recommend this place for real Mexican quesadillas. The guacamole was wonderful with the right level of spice and we especially loved the “pepino preparado” — cucumber with fresh ceviche and shrimp. Outstanding service that keeps us coming back time and time again!

1Looking for a new place to buy tacos, I decided to try this place. I ordered $71.00 worth of steak tacos. The tacos were expensive compared to everywhere else but, I still decided to give them a try. The meat was too salty, too greasy, and the steak meat was crunchy which means it was over cooked. I literally feel like I need to gargle with warm water to remove the salt taste out of my mouth. Definitely would not recommend and never going back.

Food was great but when paying we were not able to split the check & we were not told that 15% tip was automatically added to the check which I paid with card & I had already left $15 dollars cash tip on the table, so heads up tip is added & they wont tell you. So you double tip. Total spent with the extra tip was $150 which seems expensive for tacos & a few drinks

I love the tortillas on taco tuesday, but the toppings are very minimal. When it’s normal priced tacos everything is consistent, though I feel like my tacos are always cold even fresh out of the kitchen. The rice and beans are literally my favorite thing! I wish the mango margarita was made with fresh mango and not syrup for the amount of money I paid.

I paid $21 for this coctel Campechana but the (about 8 pieces) of shrimps were gummy, the (about 25 pieces)of octopus was watery/spongy and the (about 4) oysters were super small. There was more Ketchup then anything. I would not order this again I cannot vouch for any of the other food as I only ordered only a cocktail. I gave 2 stars because the waitress was nice. Not worth what I paid at all. I can go to Ola del Mar and get the real deal fresh/plump seafood.

I haven’t been here in a very long time and am so happy I stopped by. The service was very friendly and wonderful. The michelada was delicious and the tacos were larger then I thought I’d receive.
