Second time here and hope to be here again and again. Server super funny, love the atmosphere, and the food, well I don’t think you can order wrong. It’s all delish. Was a purty day so we spent it outside for our lunch. So if you find yourself cruising through New Richmond it’s a must for good food and great atmosphere and GIANT delicious margaritas!!

We enjoyed our dinner so much! We asked the waiter which margarita was the most popular and he said the tropical, so we ordered a pitcher for the table. Little did we know the pitcher was going to be a generous practically a gallon worth of margarita, see for yourself in the pictures. I ordered tacos al carbon (3) and they were so filling my kids ordered a steak and al carbon nochos. We brought home some nachos so we can bake for lunch tomorrow. My husband ordered a steak fundido which he said was over cooked, but to be honest we did not ask if it could be cooked medium so it was just well done. Did I say the margaritas were good? Because they were☺️ The salsa and chips were complimentary, as they should be because that is true Mexican hospitality. Well done El Barril!

This place is exactly what New Richmond needs! Friendly and prompt staff. The renovations this place went through look authentic and well done. Great atmosphere. No bar to sit at but alcohol is available (except for the last week of March). The reason I give it 4/5 stars is because the salsa they bring to the table reminds me of homemade spaghetti sauce. The chips are different than your “typical Mexican” restaurant- but it’s free so I’m grateful for a free appetizer!! The menu also has a full page for burgers and pizza so I think this place is great for a night out. Will be back!

Food was very good. So were the drinks. There aren’t a lot of local Mexican restaurants that serve Birria which is what I came for. Margaritas were good. Wife ordered a shrimp avocado salad which she enjoyed. I would say the experience was top notch. Be prepared to pay for it. This place is not an inexpensive place to dine- which we are okay with.

We came for my moms birthday. I had Areoz con Pollo, my son had a chicken quesadilla, and my mom and sister had different tacos. Everything was so good! The service was amazing and it was an all around great service! Highly recommend

We stopped in for a couple drinks after work and the place was pretty crowded. It seems like a popular spot. There is a nice outdoor patio (where we sat). The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

The food was cold. My Mexican pizza wasn’t even cooked all the way. The cheese wasn’t even melted. I brought it home to have the next day. For a new restaurant, you’d think they’d pay more attention to detail. Our server was good though.
