This place was a wonderful stop for some authentic Latin food. My family loved the ribs and bacalao croquetas! The plating was beautiful and everything was hot and fresh. Also, the servers are funny and sweet. 10/10 will be coming back!!!

Delicious meal! We recently returned from a trip to Barcelona and we’re trying to recreate some of the excellent meals we had there a bit closer to home. El Barrio fit that perfectly- we really enjoyed the tapas and paella out on their intimate patio. A truly delicious meal- we will be back!

We went for dinner and got two tapas and two entrees. The Cassolette de Champignons and Calamar. Both dishes were well seasoned and the Calamari wasn’t overcooked. The table bread was used to soak up the leftover sauce in with the calamari. We enjoyed the calamari more than the mushroom in basil sauce. The entree’s were the chicken in brown garlic sauce and shrimp in a chipotle red sauce. The rice that came with the shrimp was overly salted and but the sauce and shrimp were chef’s kiss. Chicken was tender and the veggies were grilled to al dente. Our waiter Juan was such a pleasure and was able to recommend a delicious cocktail! Even the owner came by to check in on every table! Amazing service and feels like a small hometown restaurant with upscale flair.

A true Latin delight. I was traveling on my own here for the fair on Milford Greens and just back biking from Silver Sands/Audubon Society. Ordered their catch for the day, which is skate fish, Modelo beer and tres cake. The fish is skillfully prepared with balanced texture and taste. I always wanted to cook skate fish myself and liked it very much. Fish came with rice and boiled vegetables. The waiter was a very interesting man with extremely blue eyes (I remember very clearly) 🙂 I had a very good time there. Definitely recommend this place.
