Our new “favorite Restaurant” This was the best Mexican food, And possibly the best meal we’ve been served in NC. There was very little left to bring home for our Pup’s lol. It was just THAT GOOD. I’m brutally honest when I write a review. But, I can’t say anything but good things about El Barzon. From the mixed drinks to the thickness of the taco shells. It was great! We enjoyed a Rum&coke and a Margarita before we ate and I had three beef tacos and we shared her Texan fajita. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. A little more expensive than other restaurants of this type but, Well worth it. If you’re in Smithfield and thinking of Mexican food, This is the place.

We dinned in this restaurant had lady a serving us. She told my mother the soup was fresh but tasted like a week old soup. Her serves was okay. Then she went and served another table. Another lady came and served us and she was great. My mother tipped her. We ended up paying $125 plus.
