The food was ok. Barbacoa was good. The decor needs a big update. The seats are damaged and it was smoky inside. Michelada was bland and we ask for additional mix to fix and were charged for it. Service was good despite other reviews. Will come back? Maybe but for now just to go.

We decided to go in here on a Sunday morning. Service was terrible and slow, they could not make milkshakes, and I ordered chicken tacos because I really hate having chewy skin. Normally chicken tacos are okay but oh boy. There was a lot of chewy skin in there and one taco was mostly bones!!!!! Unbelievable! Then my toddler requested to go to the bathroom so we went into the women’s bathroom and lo and behold, there was absolutely not a DROP of soap in there. So I wonder how the waitress is washing her hands? If you want to get horrible customer service and disgusting food and a 50 dollar bill this is the place to go.

I asked for tacos de birra with consume they gave me tacos de barbacoa with consume. We still tried it not cause a commotion and it was gross. We told the waitress she said sorry these are tacos the barbacoa and expanded the difference. When we tried the tacos there was a big piece of skin in there and several bones explained we did not want to pay for the food they said they are calling the police were waiting after the police arriving and talking to the manager the manager came back and asked us just to pay for drinks. Poor customer services.

Service is TERRIBLE!!! Waitress took our order right away which was Great but, seriously we waited 45 mins for our food. Still our food was incomplete! They had totally forgotten about my husbands order. After asking waitress how much longer we had to wait for my husband’s order she left without saying a word.15 mins later she arrived with my Husband’s order and without apologizing about their delay.HORRIBLE SERVICE DON’T COME EAT AT THIS PLACE!!

This restaurant is amazing. The service is great. Food is fantastic. We come here every Sunday for breakfast. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food this is the spot to be. They even do uber eats. You have to try their quesadilla de chicharon prensado.

Good food. The Gorditas are huge! Your good with just one. The alpastor very good flavor and I consider it the best I’ve had in Joliet. If anyone knows a better place let me know. Didn’t like the steak. No flavor over cooked. Rice had good flavor and cooked perfect. Beans were good. The barbacoa was good.
