We came during the Annual Car Show, so the wait was longer than expected. Our server was friendly and once we were seated our food didn’t take long. Chips and salsa were good. I had the shredded beef taco, the meat itself didn’t have any flavor, it came from the salsa. My husband had ground beef taco and he didn’t like it, he thought the beef had no flavor as well.

Mexican restaurant? The food here is far from authentic Mexican food! I don’t understand how this restaurant has 4.5 stars. The burritos are bland and they serve the guac, pico, and lettuce OUTSIDE of the burrito. Where in the menu does it state this? No where. We ordered a Carne Asada Burrito and the burrito was basically ALL BEANS. Horrible! Also, BEWARE: They charge $2 EXTRA if you ask to have your burrito cut in half. Seriously? It takes a second to cut a burrito in half and you’re charging $2 extra? No way.

Unfortunately, El Burrito Junior’s food quality has gone down. The meat tastes rubbery and old. The rice isn’t as moist as it used to be. I felt like I was at the wrong restaurant. Was a bit sad because this restaurant used to be the best in town.

Fast service no frills restaurant with food cooked with passion. They gave chips and salsa. I Ordered the super deluxe wet burrito de al pastor. Delicious. Washed it down with a half liter of imported Coke. 20 bucks total. When I come back to Seal Beach later this summer, I will DEFINITELY RETURN to El Burrito Jr to try their other plates.

Sorry to the haters! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion! We live in E.L.A/Montebello area. We have some pretty good food out here! This place is really good! We have been coming here for over 20 year’s and it hasn’t changed! It’s so good we will drive here just to eat from L.A. keep up the good food my Raza!

This place is a scam! Went to the small window to get drinks to go, they tell me it’s cash only. (I obviously didn’t have cash on me) so the waiter says we have an ATM inside. I know there is a fee at any atm that isn’t your bank so I proceeded it read fee was ONLY $2.50 sure whatever I’m thirsty kids are thirsty an horchata and beer sounded good. Long story short their fee is actually $5!!!!!! I took out $20 on my statement it says I took out $22.50 and on top of that they charged another $2.50!!!! It’s not much but it’s the principal they know what they are doing people go up to the window for quick walk through orders and they scam you by saying cash ONLY and pretty much have the perfect set up to steal more than they should. Shame on you guys can you imagine all the people that use their atm and get an extra $5 per person using their atm!!!?
