I love El Burro! Each dish is highly customizable, so there’s a good likelihood that you’ll find something to enjoy. Their specials are always on point, but their base menu certainly doesn’t disappoint. Good for dine in and take out, especially in the warmer weather, when you can grab a table for outdoor seating.

I have ordered from/eaten at El Burro many times. Unfortunately, the bottom line is that their food just really isn’t very good. It lacks any flavor, and is often cold, undercooked, or overcooked. I like their chips but the salsa is basically tomato water. If you want truly tasty Mexican food, go to Brasseros in Braddock.

A small gem tucked in the one block business district of Regent Square. The inside seating is snug and comfy with a great neighborhood bar and then the back outdoor, covered area opens up to surprise and delight. Great bar options, incredible Mexican fare. Can’t beat it.

I got the shredded beef rolled tacos, the mahi mahi taco, and a Mexico mule. The drinks were fabulous and the patio is beautiful and the staff were very nice, but the food itself lacked flavor. The fried fish was very soggy and the avocado on the side was unripe. The salsa is delightful though. I would come back to try the carne asada fries.

This is my second time visiting this place first time was last week really good I got the mahi mahi tacos, now I gave four stars because last week I got the fish was fresh and HUGE and also delicious. This week they are a lot smaller in size and also tasted different (sort of like fish sticks) versus what I had last week they were both good nonetheless just was expecting the same thing I got last week including taste although I ordered the exact same tacos which was the mahi-mahi tacos. Still a nice place just don’t have AC at the moment so unless your getting them to go don’t go when it’s 95 degrees outside. Otherwise I still think it’s a good spot, hope this was helpful.

I ordered the vegan trio and it came with regular cheese . That doesn’t make any sense . Also it lacks flavor. My potatoes were nearly mush . I’m not sure I’ll return and if I do it’s because the girl that took my order was super friendly and offered a suggestion that I didn’t take her up on so I may try that burrito next .

This review is for vegetarian and vegan food – I don’t give bad reviews just like that but the food at this place was so bad I had to and could not ignore and move on!. This is my first time to this place and will be the last. The place speaks vegan and shouts Mexican but nothing is Mexican except maybe the decoration in this place. The tacos were so bland, forget some spice there was no slat itself! The burrito is huge and tasteless. The sweet potatoes in the taco were still raw… Come on!! Adding salt to injury, I was asked vegetarian or vegan burrito, I chose vegetarian and was given beef burrito
