Our Father (AKA the Chef) opened the business back in 2012 with the intention of serving great food at a low price to the local community and always wanted his family to work alongside him. He has a strong work ethic and can cook really, REALLY good.

A little gem hidden by the Holland Tunnel. It’s fast, it’s friendly, it’s plentiful portions, and it’s the best prices you’ll get on either side of the river for breakfast; Steak and Eggs, complete with toast and potatoes, will run you about $10. Take a trip if you’re ever in need of a quick breakfast hit, you won’t regret it.

The first time I came here the owner was there and the older gentleman In the kitchen made my food with love. Today was the 2nd time and I had a disgusting experience. I order the same exact thing as before. Over easy eggs over rice. This 2nd time the female chef put the eggs on the side not on top and the yolk was busted. I sent it back and she tried again to correct it

One of my new favorites! I am so glad I stopped in here! I will definitely be going back. Staff was very friendly and the food is very affordable specially considering the area it is in. I had ribs and rice and they were both delicious! I can’t wait to go back next time I am in the area! There are so many unique things I wanted to try on the menu.

I was the only client at the diner and who I assumed was the owner, did not bother make any eye contact with me when he was standing right across me at eye level. There were two young men who were serving. They were kind. The menu has NO written prices. When I asked for the item prices the server said he would tell me the price once I ordered. I ordered and he disappeared into the kitchen. I got my food served pretty fast but never got my price. I let it pass. Ate my food which was ok and ended up paying a reasonable price. I would recommend the staff to make more positive eye contact and to write prices in their menu. I wish their business well.
