Positive take out is great, dinning in so so, You can have the “best” food and with lackluster service is just bring the experience down. If you want to kill time and want slow service I highly recommend you dine here. The food is Austin Texas food truck good, but again the dismal service it’s disappointing of what it could be.

Okay, so very complicated review. They pride themselves on organic food…. but… a lot of main dishes were lacking flavor. They claimed they pulled cilantro off their menu. HOW you can pull cilantro from a Mexican Restaurant seems absurd. I got street tacos and expected onions and cilantro. None. My wife ordered the chicken tortilla soup and was lacking salt, lime, and cilantro. Very one-dimensional.

Excellent flavors and quality food. Ambiance elegant and waitstaff efficient and polite. Prices a tiny bit on the higher side, but well worth it for the quality. We will stop by again on our way through Shreveport!

I was in Shreveport for approximately 3 weeks for business and this place was hands down, top two restaurants we visited. Servers were very quick with having chips and salsa as soon as we sat down, drinks were reasonably priced and SO delicious, food was fresh. I got the fish dinner, plantains, and shrimp salad and would go back to order the same exact thing if I could. The fish was a little salty, but that is my personal taste, I’m sure it would have been fine for most people. They also had patio seating which would be cute for warmer days. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would.

First of all, people are so hype about this place due to amount of good reviews. Customer service was phenomenal. The horchata tastes better than the agua de Jamaica. I would recommend the Sopas for a starter. I honestly forgot what my meal was called but it made me sick to the stomach. I don’t have a problem with eating shrimp, but I felt like their shrimp wasn’t fresh. Overall, I would come back but the hype is not worth it.

We had a disappointing experience today seems like waiter did not wanted to serve us. It took him about 30 minutes to offer us something to drink, restaurant was not even busy. I order a coffee and was not even offer sugar and when I asked he had a negative attitude. His service was abysmal..

I don’t have any real complaints about this place, but no real praises either. It’s a beautiful setting and seems to be the trendy Mexican restaurant in town. I felt like we were supposed to be absolutely astonished from all the hype, but the food was less than impressive. The presentation was good, and the food wasn’t bad either. The service was fine.

3.5 stars. The margaritas were delicious and on point, expensive, but that’s how it goes when dining out. Salsas were on point, served warm and awesome, def. house made. The chips were good too, I thought they were made in house but then I saw a box carried out by a worker that said something along the lines of cut chips. We loved our enchiladas however, 1.5 stars were knocked off because they were room-temp. warm, cheese not melted. I would have no problem waiting another 10 minutes for hot enchiladas with melted cheese. The mole sauce was super delicious.
