We sat outside. We had our 2 boys. They had a small section for kids. I ordered the burrito meal my wife ordered the Huaraches meal. She loved her food for some reason I could not taste salt. But my wife said I was nuts. The guacamole I felt needed lime and salt. And my burrito same. I mean it was good. I would eat there again. Ana our waitress was great. Nice spot for drinks and dancing, the restaurant is decorated very well and nice. The food was ok, poor quality of steak with tons of fatty pieces. Also the service was extremely slow but it could’ve been due to only 1 Cook and 1 Waitress working. We will most likely never be back unless it’s for drinks on a weekend night.

Awesome experience start to finish! Waitress was friendly and attentive. Prices were shockingly reasonable. Atmosphere was excellent and the food was exceptional!!! We will definitely make it our weekly regular.

This place has some great food and is well sized, it is just a bit pricey though, but for the atmosphere I can see why. They said every Friday night past 6pm they do karaoke so hey that might have to be a try!

Just finished my visit at El Camaleon and the experience was phenomenal. Great food, wonderful staff, everything you could hope for in a restaurant. Business was clean, reasonably priced, and definitely worth the visit. If you have time to stop by and try out the new menu, I highly encourage you to give it a shot. A very refreshing installment to downtown Joliet. Will be returning soon!!

The food and drinks were delicious! Everyone was happy with their food choice! We even ordered more to go. The music was great! Came for karaoke and it was fun! Service is a little slow, but they are very friendly. I will definitely be coming back!

Very good Mexican food with a friendly staff. I ate dinner here with some friends before going to a concert at The Forge & it was a great experience. The food arrived quickly, it was delicious and it was reasonably priced. What more could you ask for? Swing in and give this place your business, they deserve it!
