Local sourced whenever possible, using organic all natural in most cases. Extremely tasty dishes. Original dishes as well as authentic Mexican. It’s a small place but friendly and warm. It’s charming with retro photos and Hispanic decor of old. I love going here. I’ve never been disappointed.

Disapointed. Way overpriced for the quality. Beef and chicken tacos were dry and the white rice was crunchy. This food was cooked long before it arrived to our table and I paid $16.00 for two tacos. Two. Tacos… $2.50 for a small ramekin of fresh sliced jalapenos? What planet is this?

Great Mexican. Nice flavors. Loved it. This is not Tex-Mex. Reminded me of Mexican food that I’ve eaten in California. I had the squash lasagna, was very good!!

Great little restaurant and they offer a lot of gluten free options which makes it great for those who have food allergies. Delicious drinks and cool mixes. Wonderful service and friendly staff will definitely go back again soon.

El Camino is consistently excellent! It’s a very small place with a neat vibe that’s off the beaten path in Brunswick. I have been there several times and always end up ordering from their ever-changing and extensive specials menu. Some of their dishes are more of a twist on Mexican than they are traditional, but don’t let that deter you…the food is always amazing. If you like fish, definitely try the salt cod fritters! Their guac is very good as well. During my last visit, I had the most delicious red snapper over rice, veggies, and fried capers – I would go back every day for that meal! I typically get enchiladas, which are always excellent as well.

Not impressed. The waitress was sweet and the calamari was good although the portion was small. But I won’t be back. I ordered a grande salad with skirt steak and it was literally all lettuce and crumbled dry meat. For 16.50. I know food and I would never sell something like that at my restaurant.

Great Food! You may have to wait for a table on the weekends, but that’s because it’s outstanding fresh, home made, locally sourced food. It is a little pricey, but at this level it’s worth it- embrace it! So glad El Camino is in the neighborhood! The food is not hot or overly spicy but it is not bland. You can add hot sauce if you want ,but the flavors are wonderful and subtle the way it’s served.

We love this restaurant! The food is amazing, especially the specials written on the chalkboard, and the seafood. They have a spectacular variety of traditional Mexican, nuvo cuisine Mexican, vegetarian, vegan, and kid-friendly food. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgable, the bar is hopping with locals and tourists alike, and the decor is fun and funky. If I had to list any complaints they’d be super minor. It’s a bit difficult to read the specials on the chalkboard, depending on where you’re seated and your eyesight. (It’s a little dark) And you should also expect to wait 30 minutes to an hour to be seated. But that just means they are good. We spend a month in Maine every summer and we don’t consider our vacation to be over until we’ve eaten at El Camino’s at least once.

We were rushed out after splurging for a parents night out. We wanted a coffee and to relax. We left our leftovers intentionally, as the food was overpriced. This is unfortunate, because we are HUGE fans of Salt Pine Social in Bath. I recommend this restaurant explore better service and raise the bar BIG TIME on food quality.

The dark sauce on the roasted chicken enchilada was strange…overpowering alcohol or vinegar taste. Food overall just ok, actually rather bland. Atmosphere was funky and fun. Joint was really busy so others must like it. Our party of 4 agreed that we probably won’t return.
