I’ve been to all sorts of little Mexican restaurants and this just might be my favorite. El Campesino has great service, great chips & dip, and most importantly fantastic food. I got the street tacos (Asada, Pollo, Chorizo, and Carnitas) and they were delicious. If you love Mexican don’t miss out on this hidden gem!

What a gem. This was by far the best “random pick” restaurant on our way to Tennessee. Needless to say, the food was amazing! The salsa bar just calls your attention, try them all. They wont disappoint. Service is great. Just right. And last, try the pineapple agua, portions are decent and very refreshing.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. During my dinner I found a hair in our salsa. When leaving I could not find a grade card. I asked the staff member working the cash register and they stated that they didn’t have one. After looking behind the desk I saw where they placed a large plant in front of the grade card. I asked the staff member to move the plant to not be blocking the grade card and they laughed at me. The grade was 88!!

My husband and I usually go there for our birthday and/or our anniversary. Today is his birthday so that’s where he chose to go. It’s usually a 5 star on the food but it was a little off key today, good, but not as good as usual.
