Super disappointed with my recent take out order. The portions were so small and overpriced. I couldn’t believe we ordered to sides of tostones costing $7 each and getting a total of 7 tostones that were not edible bc they were so hard. The “chicharrón” was actually pork chop chunks and was charged $13!!!! I am well aware that prices have gone up and completely understand it but I felt taken advantage of.

Food was extremely oily. Definitely not even close to authentic. Portions are absolutely tiny for the price attached to them. Most Latin restaurants give you more food as a single order than this spots “meal for 2”. Very bland and lackluster food. Huge dissapointment. And mandatory 20% gratuity automatically added. The service was decent so didn’t mind that, but everything else was not good.

Absolutely delicious food and great service, music was a tad loud. Why 3 stars then? Because the food is pricy (22 bucks + tax for a plate of food) and a 20% “tip” is added to the check automatically.

My experience her did not meet my expectations. I’m Puertorican myself and decided to come to this place thinking I will feel at home. I ordered the most dry and non flavored steak with onions the beans had no flavor and my husband’s churrasco also had no flavor. My children had chicharrón de pollo they left half of it. The only thing that was actually good was the piña colada and the mojito to my tostones.. over priced for food that isn’t criollo (authentic) Puertorican food.. it was a true disappointment due to the fact they have the chef on an oversized picture when you walk in stating he’s one of the greatest chef’s! I actually wanted to go up to the chef and ask if he needed some assistance in the kitchen because that food was definitely not good and it impacts our culture. The kitchen is my second home and I come from a family that cooks with authenticity.. a true Boriqua knows the difference with our food and it saddens me to see reviews on here stating the food is delicious.. the restaurant and atmosphere is great, but again this isn’t true authentic Puertorican food.. so sad folks in this area don’t know the difference.

I was taken here on Father’s day but have to say, I was disappointed. The fact that the menu was limited with only 2 main items Pork and Rotisserie Chicken was disappointing. Also, I paid $30 for a 2 glasses of Sangria. It was more like a Sangria snowcone with all the ice it had. Literally, it had only about 4oz of Sangria. The rest of the food was ok. I think the establishment caterers more to the surrounding neighborhoods than those who know about the authenticity of the food.

Kingdom Over Everything
Went here with my husband, mother in law and family that came in from out of town, and we ALL loved it! The bacalaitos, alcapurria and chicharron were amazing! Dont get me started on their Pina Colada! The BEST I’ve ever had! Everything was authentic and service was wonderful. Debbie was such a sweetheart. Hats off to the chef! I will definitely be coming back again!
