First time visiting this location. I was eager to try the food! I’m glad another restaurant opened at this location when the previous one closed. We lived in southern California for 12 years so we are very familiar with authentic Mexican food. That said, California Mexican is not the only style of Mexican food. But we can tell when the locals have complained that the food is just too hot. Black pepper is too hot for some of these folks! Well, let me assure you, the heat is still present in the food here! I got the Burrito Guadalajara and enjoyed every bite! Sure, the place is not completely decked out like a fancy Mexican restaurant but there was enough flair for me to enjoy my visit. We will come back to try more dishes and enjoy a very good representation of Mexican food in Rural Virginia.

Was passing though to visit family and I must say that it is Definitely a great place to get a drink or a flight of margaritas. Nice employees, very clean, polite and the sautee from the kitchen smelled intoxicating. Will come again!!

The best place to enjoy the best Mexican food, a wide variety of cocktails and beers.

Service is speculative at best waitresses are not the friendliest. I have ordered beer 3 times 2 time hot / warm out of the tap. 3rd time we ordered beer asked for a bottle that was hot and they brought a chilled glass that was not chilled .

The service was pretty good, the atmosphere was about what you would expect, though it did feel a bit crowded. We waited about 25 minutes to get a table and sadly the food didn’t make it worth it. The chicken in every dish that had it was bland. It was simply cooked, no seasoning – not even salt and pepper. The sauce was not spicy enough and the cheese sauce was claggy. The salsa and chips were outstanding though and the speed of service was pretty good too – otherwise that would have been a much lower score.

Food was ok. Service was ok. Atmosphere was ok. It was all just, ok. They’re definitely tailored to the American market vs. authentic Hispanic food. My wife and I live in a Hispanic majority area in Eastern NC. On our way back home, we wanted a taste of home, but this wasn’t it. The entire experience there was americanized, including our waitress (who was a nice white lady). Wasn’t completely disappointed, but didn’t remotely remind us of home.

Just ok. The food is pretty good and fairly quick turnaround time. They do not have agua de horchata, ever, which is a huge disappointment. Waitresses seem more interested in hiding than checking up on the only table they have.

Food.and service is excellent, burrito norteno is awesome ! Beer taps need some work, not near cold enough and foamy pours.

Called in my food and got it an hour and a half later. An ACP and 5 hard shell tacos. Everytime I went in to grab my food, i wasn’t even told my food wasn’t done and had to ask myself 3 different times. Food was mediocre, basic for a mexican restaurant. Don’t do it
