I went here looking for Chili Verde. These folks, despite being Mexican acted like they never heard of it. I’m from Southern California, I’ve had Mexican food in Mexico and south Texas so I know what it is and what I like. As replacementvi asked for 2 pork burrito, I specifically asked for beans and rice, grated cheese, sour cream and pork INSIDE the burrito, with NO sauce over it. What I got was literally everything on the side, none of it inside and the whole thing soaked in cheese sauce. 2 burritos, nothing like I ordered all for $28. On top of that, they were rude. So no, NEVER GOING BACK.

Great spot for just about any occasion, staff is super friendly and at no hesitation are willing to make accommodations of any reasonable request. Great food, decent ambiance. In The little time that I spent in Monticello, I probably visited roughly 7 times and never disappointed. Check it out and try some delicious Mexican delights

The food had no flavor whatsoever. Me and my wife stopped there and this was our 3rd time. 15 dollars a plate plus we still gave them a 4 dollar tip, came to about 40 dollars. We will not be stopping there again.

Food was way over cooked so I asked for some extra cheese sauce to put on it and charged me an extra $5 for it it was $23 for me to eat alone one person and all I had was the chicken cheese and rice and a sweet tea on top of all that probably waited at least a half hour for my food

Ridiculous. Stood for 6 minutes to get a table. They weren’t busy. We were ignored. So we left. Some Kathy Bates looking woman eating with her mouth open needed more salsa and then more drinks. Right beside us standing there. Suffice it to say she got her craw stuffed while We stood waiting for a table. Or to even be recognized we wanted to eat there. Pitiful. The food is pretty good here. Generous portions on the steak fajitas. Good flavor. They serve Coke products, which is always a plus. The salsa had a decent flavor but tasted a bit like canned tomatoes, not fresh. Service was fine.

Only gave it two starts because the food was good. There was a bit of a delay between getting the two parts of my meal. The service was pitiful. A very short man, didn’t get his name, took mine and my male friends order. Never once acknowledged me, not even when bringing out ticket. Just ordering was uncomfortable. He immediately greeted my friend and asked what he could get him then just stared at me. Offered to refill his drinks etc, never once asked me. I’m a very polite person and there was absolutely no reason for him to be that way. I hope no one else experiences being treated like you’re invisible at this place. Will never, ever go there again. I would also never recommend anyone go there.
