Come try Nicaraguan food here!!! The taquitos (pictured) are excellent, topped with some creamy sauce and a little outrageously good slaw. The rice and black beans that come with the entrees are so good I can’t stop thinking about them. The sauteed plantains (tostones?) that come with some entrees are tasty, but not sweet. The steak platter is delicious and comes with lots of sides, and more of the tasty slaw. The staff are very nice and helpful, so don’t be afraid to ask questions if you want to know more. This place offers excellent food for great value – you won’t leave hungry or broke. They have tasty fresh juice blends like tamarind and chia, which is good, but for something really fantastic, try the horchata drink that is made with cocoa – it’s so, so good! After a meal here, you will be a fan of Nicaraguan food! (And this place is co-located with Frank’s Burgers that is fantastic, too.)

I’m proud to see that Nicaraguan food is being pushed in this community. Our food is not easy to make as it requires alot of labor. This is a family establishment and this far have always been welcoming, friendly and professional. They welcome suggestions and will try accommodate as best they can. I will. Online to support this establishment as it is needed specially from our Nicas. Pa delante mi gente. Y Felicidades.

Wow ! This place is absolutely perfect service is extraordinary they really care about the quality of the food they present and have traditional Nicaraguan dishes I would eat here everyday. If I could . It get very busy so I recommend going to eat there when it’s is not peak hours. To be honest you can order anything here and will not be disappointed but I do recommend the Nicaraguan Carne asada.

I’m a little bias because both my parents are from Nicaragua but the food is really good.

Nostalgia…. Went back home, loved the service and the food. Had everything on the menu, from the tacos to the nacatamal. El quesillo en bolsa was amazing. Overall incredible.

Amazing Nica food! You must try the Carne asada fritanga and the Tostones con queso frito y mayonesa de aji verde . We drove an hour and a half and they did not disappoint. It is located inside Franks burger. The owner was so nice to come by and greet us at the table.

A hidden gem! Super yummy. The service was excellent, and the staff was super helpful. We met Pedro Matamoros, the chef who shared his passion for using only fresh and natural ingredients to keep consistent taste and flavors for his authentic Nicaraguan plates. They had nacatamales and vigoron which are hard to find locally, and were absolutely fantastic. We can’t wait to go back to try the other side of the menu, Franks burgers which he is known for!

It is hard for me to believe this is Nicaraguan food. It is terrible, no atmosphere, no parking. The hamburger joint in the same restaurant is much better.

I came here thinking I am about to eat some authentic Nicaraguan food being that I am from Nicaragua myself I looked up the reviews and didn’t see much of positive reviews but I am a firm believer in giving business the benefit of doubt. So I came and to my surprise the place was closed. You might ask why I am giving a 2 star, well gas is expensive and I came all the way from DC. If your going to run a good business your information should be up to date and accurate and not waste a potential customer time and money. Also the place does not have its own store logo like the rest of the places. This is poor marketing and a disgrace to my country.

Everything was delicious. Best Nicaraguan food I’ve had in the area, very comprobable to what you find in Miami or back home in Nicaragua. The cacao was great and look forward to going back!
