The food is excellent and the service is good too. It was kinda dark which was eh. The bad part was the door is a piece of plywood so it looks like an abandoned place especially paired with how dark it is inside. They have an open sign that was on but isn’t a super bright sign. I was meeting friends there or I would have drove away because it truly looked closed down especially since the likely grocery store next to it IS closed down. They should really do something to make it super clear they’re open because it’s delicious and definitely worth eating at.

To be honest, this is my wife and I favorite place to go because it’s close to home, the food is always made fresh, and the service is always the best. We shared the pork carnitas with corn tortillas. She always gets her typical margarita on the rocks. It’s always so good coming here to eat. ESP with family or friends.

Bomb as fuk!!! Absolutely, loved the meal and the service…for a hole in the wall it was excellent. I had the Molcajete was amazing. My husband had the taco salad with some of my Molcajete he said nopale was just like his grandma made. Authentic ❤️

This place is great. Super good food and great service. Try all four salsas with you chips. I like them all. We have never had a bad meal here in the 9 years of living around here. Yes they have burgers and hotdogs for the ones that don’t like Mexican food like my granddaughter.

El Charrito Mexican Restaurant is a hit or miss kind of place, there is a person that works there that doesn’t give great service but the food is good though. When my mom and I are looking for Mexican food this is one of the places we go too

Ordered a medium done New York steak from the “American menu” for 20 bucks, and we received the grossest little burnt and shriveled up steak. It was basically grilled fat with a little slice of meat attached. A huge insult to steak lovers and Americans in general.
