Airport takeout, part deus. Please, for the love of everything, make the food quick AND accurate. Dined at El Charro consistently as a child, so glad they’ve expanded, and in the TUS airport no less. But. I ordered a corn and beef tamale, and received chicken. Almost missed my plane waiting to correct the error. The thing is, it was fine out, and I could have discovered on my flight, not land locked.

Being located in an airport, the prices are just as high as everything else. I tried the Charro burger. It was pretty good. A good sized patty on a brioche bun! The first time I had ever had ‘fried cheese’ on top anything. Added a nice flavor, but wasn’t my favorite. I think I’d prefer it served the regular way, but that’s just ME. They were a bit sparing on the Chipotle mayo, I had to ask for more. Fries were fresh and very hot. The server was a bit busy but pleasant and pretty good at seeing to everything. All in all, wasn’t bad for a $20+ single meal.

I called in an order at 12:35 pm for a 4:00 pm pick-up. I felt rushed by the guy taking my order & was not sure my order was received. I called @ 12:37 to verify the order & change the pick-up time to 4:00 pm. The guy told me the order was already being prepared & that he changed the pick up time.

Good place for some food and drinks at Tucson airport. Breakfast menu is limited to 4 core entrees, but there were all good options. My breakfast burrito was great and came with two salsa options. Free coke refill to go was also very nice!

I’ve never been a huge El Charro fan. Much better and more authentic Mexican food available in Tucson. But.. the food is decent and fresh. The atmosphere for an airport shop was great, as was the service. If you’re a Tucson Airport and need to kill time, it’s a great place for a drink or some grub.

Poor service, waitress was more than rude, through me the menu and put my beer so far from that I had to stand up to grab it. I ordered beef quesadilla. First it stayed for more than 10 minutes on the kitchen counter before the waitress decided to bring it to me (easy to see when you seat at the bar) : dry, less than one once of meet and nothing else inside, beam were liquid, rice over dry. I paid $24 with a drink and left $4 tip which I think was generous regarding the service. Then I discover that I’ve been charge $30. Question is not for $2 but apparently waitress overwrite my bill. I made a claim at my bank. So in a nutshell Poor Service, Poor Food and on top of that they are thieves. AVOID and go get a bagel next door they are delicious and they smile at you while you place your order.

Great breakfast options before a long flight. I was traveling with someone and we were able to sit down, and enjoy our meal all while enjoying a fun atmosphere! Would definitely come back again the next time traveling through Tucson International!

Grilled Chicken Quesadilla is an airport typical overpriced, under stuffed tortilla shell. Salsa is from a mass produced commercial jug (saw the waitress dump it into the holding container). Would not eat here again.

Rushed service since the place was packed with one server. Placed order at 10:50 a.m. Couldn’t order lunch because that didn’t start until 11 a.m. Breakfast burritos were scrambled eggs in a Tortilla. I had no meat in mine. Salsa was good. Server was polite.
