Fairly good Mexican food. Located on a major highway in hibbing, not far from Taco John’s. We went for dinner and had a burrito and an order og Fajitas. They’re salsa is out of this world, very good. The burrito was rather bland and even with some healthy dashes of hot sauce, it was fine just more bland then I expected. The Fajitas were also good, but they were also less seasoned then I expected. The drinks were fine and the atmosphere is really good.

We went at 3:30 pm on a Sunday, there were lots of open tables. It picked up pretty quickly after we arrived. They switch from the Country Kitchen menu at 3 pm to the Mexican menu. Our server was amazing, very on top of things, super fast service. I ordered sweet tea as he told me that’s what they had. What I got was unsweetened tea, I opted for a Sprite instead, they were out of that, water it was. I ordered the #19 combo. It was a delicious, perfect portion, I don’t care for the red sauce, that is just me. My boyfriend ordered the sampler fajitas as pictured, and he said the shrimp tasted fishy as if maybe they weren’t cooked long enough. Otherwise, the cheep dip was great, chips a little on the greasy side, salsa is a puree style and a bit of a spice which we like. We will be back as it’s close to home, a new restaurant option for Hibbing and we like to support local

definitely went downhill since it first opened Very disappointed when we went here today so I am updating my review. It was very slow like nobody in restaurant yet we after being given chips and salsa sat for over 20mins without anyone coming to take drink orders or anything so finally got up and left!

Everything was great! I had an original lime margarita on the rocks to start which was good. Like most mexican restaurants they start you with chips and salsa for the table. The salsa was thin in texture but had a really good flavor. The dish at the bottom is Enchilada en Mole and the one at the top is Monster Burito made with chicken. There is a ton of menu options. It was really busy when we got there, but we were still seated within a few minutes, drinks and food also came out fast. Would definitely came back to try more dishes, and am interested to try their American breakfast options.

The food is really good here, I wanted more even after I left. The waitresses were friendly, but not very attentive. After getting our food I asked for a refill on water and never got it. The atmosphere was nice but nothing big. And as we were checking out the people in front of us were having trouble with payment, which needed 3 separate employees to fix and took about 10-15 minutes. I understand things happen, but it still kinda puts a bad taste in your mouth for a first visit since this location changed businesses.

We stopped in for dinner. We were greeted and sat down. Ordered our drinks and then later our dinner. We got our order on timely basis. Been coming here since it opened. At first food was high quality but it seems that when owners are not there, the food quality is not the greatest. My husband’s order consisted of burnt and dried meat. My order seemed to have no flavor to it. We’re not ones to complain but even when the food quality starts to dwindle then something needs to be done. Not going here any more

Horrible food. We got sat and waited 10 minutes to even get someone to ask if we had been helped. We knew what we wanted and told her. We never got chips or salsa until AFTER we placed our order. Once we got our food we asked for a new water since we had finished one. The food was horrible the beans were liquid. We got the wrong food and we had to tell her we did. We finished eating and then got our new water. Perfect right as we are leaving. The place is horrible and the service is awful. Never going back. Mucho Sí is a far better option for a quality Mexican experience.

Didn’t even know who our waitress was because so many different servers were at our table. Cold appetizer. Had to wait 20 minutes before we all got our drinks. The ground beef was not seasoned and didn’t even taste like beef. Our table of 5 (and a baby) waited nearly an hour and 15 minutes for our food. Our first time there was great, but don’t think we will be going back again.

I’ve dined here about 5 times, all good experiences & at least a 4 each time. Chips & salsa are excellent!! Today 6/21 a bit disappointed. I ordered a veggie quesadilla w/spinach from the Veggie-Mex section on the menu. I asked what cheese is in it; waitress did not know & I could not choose & she didn’t offer to find out from the kitchen, so I told her as long as it isn’t American I’m good. Got our orders in good time, I had no rice and beans. I mentioned to her I think my menu item comes with rice and beans. She went to check and came back and said the quesadillas do not come with them. The menus were gone, I didn’t want to push it, I was full from the great chips and salsa anyway…. I figured she thought I ordered an appetizer quesadilla LOL. We asked for extra napkins three times but never got them. My sister & I checked out the menu later online and guess what— I did miss out on my rice and beans!! We’ll still come back, but pls dbl ck your menu items properly for your customers & answer their ingredient questions with something other than “I don’t know”….
