El Chef Latino LLC, has come a long way from the first time I visited. The staff is very good at making accommodations of the menu and prepare the meals with so much care and quality that it’s worth giving them a shot for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is located in Sterling, VA ; across the road from the new DMV. Although kind of isolated in a small portion of the shopping center with very limited parking and a Subways, a Chinese restaurant and a Hispanic bakery it tends to get lost in plain sight because most of the signs are red and white, so you’d have to stop to actually see El Chef Latino. But the food is good, the inside of the restaurant can handle a small crowd.

I’ve been around this area for awhile and they were the only place with a variety of different kinds of tacos I placed my order an hour before and once I go there to pick up my food the lady tells me they don’t have the “specific kind of taco I wanted” and told me she didn’t have my number to call me back when indeed she did. So I’m really disappointed overall because I waited and I was starving and they couldn’t have called me before until I got there. Never coming here again..

We had El Chef cater our end-of-year picnic at Guilford Elementary School in Sterling. For a very reasonable price they made hundreds of our students, families, teachers, and community members happy! Their food is delicious and their staff is very friendly and easy to work with. Whether it’s for a big event or you’re just stopping in for lunch… El Chef is where you want to go!

Yesterday I had the best baleada I have had in 20 years. I kid you not. The best, best tortilla de harina. Thick, soft, perfect. I never thought I would ever taste that consistency after my childhood. The tacos al pastor were also just perfect. And the pupusas de chicharron were excellent too. This may be the best quality home food I’ve had since I came to the US. Good job to this entrepreneur!
