We stopped here on our way to my sister’s graduation @ Louisiana Tech from Dallas. I have been to several El Chico restaurants all over the DFW area and some of course are better than others, but this is the worst place I’ve ever eaten in my life. The food was disgusting and made one of us sick. The service was horrible as well. Our waitress and apparently the cooks obviously didn’t want to be there because 20 minutes before they closed, she brought us more chips and told us “that’s the last of the chips cuz they were closing”. The worst part of it was when the bartender came out of the kitchen yelling at the waitress because she saw a bug and someone needed to kill it. Gross

I have been going to this location since I was a small child. It has always been great. The food, the service, the drinks, the atmosphere, wonderful all around. I was so sad to see two of their other locations in this area close. I will be very sad if this location ever closes.
