They have Ice Cold Mexican Coke!!! That was the highlight of our meal. Ordered 2 cheese enchiladas. The tortilla was falling apart, the cheese was cold and not melted, and the salsa was cold. These were cold, bland, and just nasty enchiladas. Also had carne asada fries. They were topped and prepped pretty good over all. There was enough meet to barely taste and it was chopped so small it got lost behind a couple of sliced tomato and onions. The worst part about the fries is that they were not cooked(reheated) all the way through. They looked soggy, no crisp or color, just badly cooked. It has been a year since I came here and now I remember why. I give up on this place. I am sure there are other items that are good to eat, but my problem was the execution of the meals not as much as the flavors. No kids meals or portions when I asked.

Love their Camaornes Diabla ! So dang spicy n I’m a Chili freak so beware and tell them to make the sauce mild heat if you don’t like it to spicy. Other then that the shrimp is perfect cooked, seasoned and the rice and beans are yummy. Taste homemade. They also handmake their tortillas. Little hole in the wall.

The heavyset woman who knows English is sarcastic. The young Hispanic girl at the cashier doesn’t know English. I went there today and asked for a large soda and wanted to see how large the cup was and the heavyset woman took over the conversation and when I asked to see how large the soda cups were she said 32 ounces and I said, can I see the cup? she sarcastically said you don’t know what 32 ounces is? That’s not the point. I said 32 ounce sodas come in different cups, so it was clear she just wanted to be sarcastic with me. Then I asked that the sour cream be put on the side and it was poured all over the taquitos that I ordered. I also asked for one Al Pastor taco and she was trying to confuse me and said do you want one Al Pastor taco or do you want one Al Pastor taco plate and I said one Al Pastor taco and she said single? And I said yes so I didn’t get why She was the one that didn’t understand one taco, I never said plate but it felt like she was trying to get me to say plate. Then they scimped on the rice and beans, napkins and when I asked for extra napkins, she said, didn’t they put any in there?!, I said a few, but can I have a few more? She gave them to me I also asked her for an extra green chili and an extra red chili cuz I was sharing my taquito plate with my husband and they gave them to me but then she says anything else ma’am?! In a sarcastic way, so I will never be going back there again , and then they let me leave without my soda. I had to drive back to get the soda that to me was more expensive than any other taco hole in the wall place I’ve ever been to so again I will not be returning to El Chilito. P.s. the little salsa containers had air in them showing they were spoiled. After I ate their not so good food, I got the runs. The food isn’t even hot when they give it to you and they take forever to cook the food.

The breakfast burritos here are so delicious! They have a wide variety of types including my favorite, nopales. Most Mexican restaurants are limited to a couple of basic meat options. Their green sauce is delicious too. I’m surprised the overall ratings for this place aren’t higher. My family and I have ordered a variety of different dishes and everything is delicious. The owner is super friendly too.

I ordered a carne asada burrito,, the burrito got filled with lots of beans and lots of rice no carne asada . Only a few litle pieces inside. I would’ve been better off ordering a bean and cheese burrito instead.

I really enjoyed the food here. I had a carne asada burrito with cheese which was quite large and full of flavor! The smokiness and char on the meat was perfect. The seasoning was spot on to make it pleasing to the taste buds and there was a good amount of cheese mixed with the meat. Service was great. Thank you El Chilito I really enjoyed your food.
