Honestly loved the vibe here. I felt like the workers here really try their best to give you the best experience. Food was delicious and live music was entertaining. Molcajete sauce was fire and Michis were refreshing. I will be coming again.

First impressions, the restaurant does have a very modern upscale look to it. However, we arrived at around 1pm on a Saturday and we were the only ones there. Two or three other tables arrived after the around 2 hours we were there. Not docking stars for that, just an observation. Music was playing over some speakers but the volume was at an adequate level as to not interfere with conversation. Now the food. We had an appetizer of breaded shrimp which tasted very good. For the actual meal, this is where it was less than impressive. For one, the food is served in such a manner where its definitely meant for presentation and/or pictures for social media and not for proper consumption. The worst offender was that my sister ordered a Mojarra Frita and it was served suspended over some fries sort of spit roast style (a metal rod going the top of it connected to a pretty big wooden board and rods) [see picture]. This took up so much space on the table. It does have a bit of a “wow” factor when first seeing it but my sister’s first question was “How am I supposed to eat this?”. She eventually started picking at the sides of it and eventually gravity won and it sort of slumped down splitting bone and meat. She had to ask the waitress for a plate to be able to set it down to eat it properly. The other offenders were the Molcajete I ordered and the Fajitas my dad ordered. The Molcajete is served on a black mortar bowl that rests on top of an even wider wooden board. this took up so much space. Same for my dad’s Fajitas. It was served on a skillet that resided on top of an even bigger wooden board. My mother and brother in law ordered dishes (wet burrito and ceviche) that were properly served on normal plates. I also ordered a fancy drink that was served in a pretty big bathtub with a little ducky in it (see pictures). It is silly and fun but once again, contributed towards the struggle with space on the table. Between all these massive items we were struggling to eat comfortably on this table. We were seated in a booth that properly holds 5 people but the table is not sized properly for these big showmanship platters. We were getting close to requesting two tables to be brought together to have more real estate to eat properly. I removed two stars, one for this annoying size issue and the other for the Molcajete just being a 7/10 in terms of taste. The salsa was decent, the quality of the meats were a bit above average. The one thing I could not eat was the chorizo. It just did not taste good. Price wise, everything seemed to be in line with the usual prices ranging from 20-35 a plate depending on your selection. We paid around 180 for the 5 of us, which averages 36 a plate including drink. They do charge a 3% surcharge for paying with a debit card though, so something to have in mind.

First off, the regular Michelada was great! Our waitress Diana helped us out right away and brought our drinks and took our order. The fried fish taco with rice and beans was great. As for the price of my wife and myself, I have no complaints. I would say open up the VIP seating so that everyone is more evenly spread out. Things I didn’t like were the 3% charge for using my debit/credit card. Would definitely recommend it. I will be going again soon. Hopefully we get the same great service. 8/10

The food was good the only meal we did not like was the fish tacos it did not have flavor. Ruth was are waitress and customer service was on point. The place is known for the micheladas and they were good. Plenty of parking around the plaza or they also offer Valet parking .
