The food overall was really good. We had pernil, a few different types of rice and beans, pollo al horno & churrasco. The pinto beans were more delicious than the black beans. The maduros were a little too thick so not as cooked in the inside and the flan was a little bitter. The potato salad was also not mixed well so I would pick the yucca next time. We picked up our food and no one was there but it was a very nice atmosphere. Our bill was $80 (with a Malta and bottle Coke too).

We went after church to use a coupon. It was really quiet and empty, so we were slightly concerned. My wife got stew chicken and I got stew ribs. It was absolutely delicious. The broth and seasonings were so flavorful. We both got the yellow rice and two sides. It’s kinda set up like a buffet and you order from there but they also make fresh in the back other plates like sandwiches and stuff. Very good.

Not only do they have great tasting food, but the prices are so oooooo reasonable. I’m originally from the Bronx and it felt like a slice of home. This place is a real gem! Oh, make sure you purchase the Sangriia pouch. I’ve never been able to find them outside of Puerto Rico.

Service was a little slow for the amount of people that were inside eating and the amount of staff but once the food came out, none of that mattered anymore. The food was fantastic. If you’re looking for a taste of puerto rico, look no further. El Chinchorro is the place to be!

Waited too long for my food and there was only one other family there. My food was also over cooked including the tostones which is odd since they cook these all the time. Don’t order the salmon here. Also, the plates have this aluminum paper that easily rips up when oil drips and you end up eating aluminum with your food. And the karaoke room was very cold. The only good things were the yuca fries and churrasco. Do better.

Best and most authentic Latin food I’ve ever had! The pork was delicious and so were all the sides! The portions were very generous as well! My total was about $20. Yes, that’s expensive for one person for lunch, however it’s all homemade and made fresh every day. So it was well worth the money! I will absolutely be back! Oh, you have to try the homemade lemonade! Each cup is freshly made to order. I honestly can’t wait to go back again!

Delicious Latin Food!! The empanadas were amazing and fresh! Everything was so flavorful. There is a hot bar so you can get your food quick or you can order something off of their menu. Definitely worth a try!! Staff was kind and very helpful in helping us to choose what to eat!

The place was dirty. The staff seems like they don’t know what to do. The waitress brought our appetizers but no plates, utensils or drinks. The food was not good. It was very bland. The prices are way too expensive for what you get. Drinks are $5.20. I will never go back. Cost $50.18. I gave her $60 and she only gave me $5.00 back. I don’t mind paying $50 for a good meal with good service. But this place is horrible. Save your money. Mexican food is way better.

Wow, you get a lot of food & so tasty! Picked the meat & two sides (rib stew, yellow rice & pinto beans). Plus our waitress let us try some yucca & something else that I can’t remember the name. The yucca was very good. Had the almond cake for dessert. I was hungry but still can’t believe I ate it all. It wss a lot! It was that good! Decent priced cocktails too, though not sure there was a lot of alcohol. I had the passion fruit mojito. We’ll be back for sure!!
