The food was flavorless. Portions were tiny. The cheese wasn’t even melted on the torta. The queso dip was chucks of cheese. The rice and beans were bland. So disappointing. They didn’t even include napkins or utensils for carryout. At least the chips were light and salted enough. I recommend going somewhere.

The cheese dip, chips and salsa are the best!! The street taco was okay, meat was a little over cooked. The refried beans were cold but the tacos and rice were nice and warm.

Overall, good, but I wasn’t super impressed with the food. Maybe my expectations were too high based on what I had heard from some friends. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t amazing. Chips and salsa are not complimentary, which was disappointing. I’ll probably give this place another try though. Staff was friendly and checked on us several times. Prices were reasonable, fairly large servings.

Absolutely love this authentic Mexican food restaurant! You will never find light airy hot corn chips anywhere! They don’t taste like the typical heavy corn chip out of a bag then fried! Street steak tacos are amazing with lime and onion, cilantro! Service fantastic! A must go!

Decent food but their menu does not reflect the actual price. They have “hidden” costs on several items and you find out when the bill is printed. Extra for a type of meat or a type of tortilla, etc…I no longer go to eat there because they have had this practice for a few years again. I even asked before eating and the waitress said that there would be no extra cost. When i got the bill and pointed it out she just said sorry. Shame its a dishonest business.

Today was my first time there. I went with my son and daughter in law for lunch. This place is fantastic. It’s one of the few Mexican restaurants that that offers a number of “true” Mexican items such as tortas etc..

Best chips and salsa on Dixie and maybe even Louisville to be honest. I’ll eat a bag of chips on their own. Love the cheese dip, guacamole, chicken street tacos, pico, and sopes. All so delicious, I’ve always had delicious food here.
