This place is a hidden gem. The best Mexican food in the area, by far. All their ingredients are fresh, and everything is hand made. I ordered a margarita, which was by far the best margarita I’ve had in my whole life. So fresh, no chemical taste- just real juice. The birria tacos are phenomenal and melt in your mouth. Everything is reasonably priced for the quality. We will definitely be back again!

I really liked the ambiance of El Comalito. The staff, Nelson and Kevin, were friendly & nice & genuine El Salvadoran. My friend Ken, brought me here for the Puposas. I had Spinach & Cheese AND one w Pork. I very much liked the shaved radish/Beets they gave me to add. They were good but too wet/soft for my taste. Next time, I’ll get a Burrito.

This place really pulls out all the stops. Amazing food, super friendly service and the portion sizes were generous to say the least. The tinga on the nachos were extremely well seasoned and pull apart tender. The torta de milanese de pollo was crispy, the refried beans were delicious and the avocado was generous. The pupusas were the best I’ve ever had. Usually pupusas have such a thick exterior they take away from the inside – not these. Also the salsa verde was delicious, we had to take some home. Overall a great experience, will definitely come back.

1st time there for lunch break. I thought the food was exceptional. I had Tuesday Tomales and I thought they were some of the best Tomales I’ve had in this country. Definitely try it, if you like Mexican/Central America food.

My first time ever having catfish tacos with rice and beans. I loved them. They had a strange spiciness that made my lips burn a little but my mouth wasn’t on fire. The beans were like a puree with good bean flavor, not too salty like some beans are. The yellow rice was perfectly cooked.

Moving to the US after 10 years living and working in Central and South America, my Colombian/American family is always looking for real authentic food from anywhere in the region! El Comalito has a great mix of VERY authentic Salvadoran food that’s so hard to come by PLUS a mix of authentic mexican and more ‘gringo style’ familiar dishes as well (quesadillas/fajitas, etc) – Their meats are perfectly seasoned (chicken tinga is so good), pupusas so so fresh, patacones excelentes!!!… really this place is far superior to anything in the area if you’re looking for flavor… good music and super friendly staff.

Great food for starter we tried the fried sweet plantains with sour cream. The plantains are good but would be better as a dessert served with ice cream and chocolate. Not really sure why the sour cream as it doesnt add anything to the flavor of the plantains. For dinner i had the the chicken taco’s and added rice and beans. The chicken tacos are amazing and the rice was great i was not a fan of the refried beans but my husband liked them. My husband tried the quesadillas Baja with steak and loved them said he would definitely order that again. Over all we will definitely go back the service was great

Waited 45 minutes for the food to come out cold. Waiter avoided our table. Was charged for items that never made it to the table. It was honestly a waste of 2 hours. Price was just about $100, not worth it in my opinion.

Latest & greatest go-to spot for delicious, plentiful plates of food. Margaritas are delicious and sneakily strong, burritos are huge, birria tacos come with the best sauce, fajitas are grande. The staff is so kind and helpful, Kevin was our waiter. Both takeout and dine-in are to die for.
