Eating at El Coquí made me feel as though I was eating back in Puerto Rico. The mofongo relleno and arroz con gandules had the authentic flavors of Puerto Rican cuisine. To top it all, the owner/chef’s hospitality made us feel right at home. I’m sad I can’t take this reataurant back to the Bay Area in California with me.

Just tried it for the first time. The red snapper over yellow rice was fantastic. I ate it before I made it home and wanted another. They forgot my wife’s rice and beans and the tostones could use more flavor.

I went today to buy mofongo and fried meat and tostones and alcapurria The tostones were raw, the meat tastes good, but the tostones were raw, the alcapurias have a good flavor, but they were with a lot of oil, and finally we threw the food away .. I do not return and I do not recommend it to anyone
