Passing through, I called and ordered two cheese burgers and fries for pickup. We arrived about 10 minutes later, a very friendly lady greeted us and insisted we sit. We told her we had pre-ordered and then brought our food. Hamburgers were delicious, fries hot, and ice cold pepsi. Muchísimas gracias señora y que dios los bendiga.

A nice little family run diner with standard food plus Mexican food. Large booths and table seating. Breakfast is not served all day. Mexican food options seem to be the focus. Burger patties are freshly made. Nice place to stop if you’re on a trip to White Sands. Pretty standard overall.

This place is a real gem. Owned by a woman, Christina, whose sister does the cooking. Excellent food, good atmosphere and very clean. Everyone in town eats here. We camped nearby for two weeks and came here to eat several times. If you’re passing through and don’t stop, you’re really missing out. Need something in town? Ask Christina and she’ll tell you where you can get it. Such nice folks here!

Family run and outstanding! We stopped on our way to Alamogordo. Everything was homemade. I ordered the green chili soup which came with ground beef, onions and cheese. It was a huge portion and delicious! I also had a chili relleno with amazing crispy batter smothered in delicious red chili enchilada sauce. I recommend this restaurant!!

We were hungry and stopped by for lunch. The food and the service were great. It seemed like a lovely locals spot. Don’t pass it by.

Driving from Santa Fe down 285, to 3 south. Beautiful country and nasty cloudbursts.

Very tasty NM steak. Ground beef patty with green or red sauce rice and beans. Had the green and it was very tasty without being overly spicy.

10/10 and definitely recommend if you’re traveling through the area. I had the combo meal with a taco, enchilada, and tamale. This is by far the best Mexican meal I’ve ever had. It is a little hole-in-the-wall + in the middle of (a beautiful, scenic)nowhere, but I believe this adds so much character. You can tell the pride and love cooked into the food.
