This place has continued to go down hill. It is very much hit and miss with them. I use to stuck with their Big Jake but it has started to be off so I’ve tried a few other things on their menu and not only is it all over priced but the food quality has become poor. Tried their Lobo burger tonight and someone flattened it. Has very little taste and the fries were made long before the burger was even ordered. Sadly since there isn’t many options in town you’re better off eating at home or going to DG or the Market and getting something to make at home. Your money will go farther and it will taste better. Our family will no longer be supporting this place after trying to give it a go for almost a year now. Do better guys, it’s a little town, I know you don’t have much competition but that doesn’t mean you do a bad job to save money.

I ordered four shredded beef tacos. All I can say beautiful presentation and tasty. Their three salsa selection of Hot, Mild and Green are authentic and each have a characteristic that is distinctive and flavorful.

Without a doubt, when traveling through St. Johns AZ, this is the place for excellent Mexican food. Don’t be fooled by the fact that it is located in a gas station convenience store. We ate there on a road trip from California to New Mexico, and on our way home we stopped again – it was that good! It is a busy place, heavily populated with locals who line up to place their orders for take out or to eat there. Their Chili Relleno’s are very good. We also had tasty quesadillas, nachos and burritos. Their house made salsas are amazingly good. Prices are very reasonable. Everyone leaves full and happy! If we could clone it and bring it home to California, we would!

The chicken tacos are good… Nothing fancy but it comes with chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers and some cheese. They have hot and mild salsa available. It’s a quick Mexican food place to get some quick food. They do cook your food on the spot which I love and the employees are super nice! If you dine in or order at the counter, you get free chips and salsa while you wait for them to cook your food.

Food was excellent! They have a great menu. I believe you get what you pay for as it is a bit on the higher end but it will definitely be worth it Service was ok. Fast but not as professional and courteous as could be. The young ladies at the counter were catching up and that’s fine but I don’t like it when those that hand your food to you are also touching their phones, faces and hair. I see that with a lot of food service nowadays. It’s wrapped up when handed off to me but it just doesn’t give off good vibes. Either does those handling money and my food. So much has changed in the last few years and I will let you fill in the blank. Atmosphere was nice. It was clean and quiet so I will rate well. Not sure if they had bathroom facilities or shared that with the store. I would highly recommend no matter what. I look forward to going back for one of their special burritos.
