This particular location is the most professionally run operation I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been coming here for lunch for many years now. In being used to watching my favorite spots in the city tend to fizzle out after their initial hype, this El Diablo seems to get better every year. I appreciate how friendly the staff is, the pace at which they work, the product is great week after week and the cleanliness of the restaurant is always on par. We ordered catering and it was absolutely delicious. Every single person at the party raved about the food. The amount of toppings we were given was beyond my expectations… Sauces, pico, hot and sweet peppers, pineapple habanero, lettuce, cilantro, sour cream. I couldn’t fit it all on my tacos! LOVED our taco bar! The amount for 15 people served 18 easily with leftovers. Great service too at the Marsh road location for pickup. Thank you!

We really like El diablo. We order take outs more often. Their service is really good and they are also generous with their quantities. Sometime it looks a peace of art work with all the different vegetables, colors and dressings!

In the evenings this place is run by a bunch of teenagers who are more concerned with goofing around and cleaning the back area hours before the place closes than they are with taking orders and helping customers. The trash is always overflowing, the soda in the fountain is often flat, and the tables/chairs are always dirty. If you’re going to go, I would recommend going during the weekday daytime hours and avoid nights/weekends.

I have been a fairly regular customer since the first store opened in Trolley Square. I now go to the North Wilmington store. My go-to has always been the grilled steak salad. Now you have to pay $1.75 extra for mushrooms. This was an ingredient that was always part of the salad. So now, if I want it the same way, I’ve gotten it for 10+ years. My $14.50 salad is $16.25. It’s just not worth it to me.
