Great food, great customer service! Very sweet women, I think owner was there past closing (I didn’t know it was closed) but she said she was there cleaning late so didn’t mind making me some delicious fajitas. I love these “hole in the wall” style Mexican places, they always have the best authentic food.

Amazing food and prices. People on here complaining about salsa from a pitcher are crazy I watched her make the salsa fresh and put it in the pitcher and she made an extra hot batch just for me. The drinks had a wonderful amount of alcohol and pina coloda was on point. Still full after 2 hrs. We will be going here frequently and her stories of the old country were an awesome addition to the meal. New favorite Mexican restaurant. 2 meals and drinks $30. Bring cash as it’s a cash only restaurant but didn’t mind one bit.

Terrible. We were the only ones in the store on a friday at 5pm. She didn’t ask what wanted to drink, she said, “You want waters?” Thinking we would have waters with whatever else we ordered, said OK. Then she brought two salsa’s hot/mild, then asked to take our order. Menu was very generic, Tacos, Enchiladas, Fajitas, and two combo plates. There were a few other things, but entire menu was bland. We ordered chicken tacos and a combination plate. About 10 minutes after we ordered, she came out to the dining room where there was a freezer/refrigerator next to the bar. The woman took out what looked like chicken and then all we heard was microwave beeps. No hot sizzling noise. It took way too long and I looked like we were going to eat already cooked chicken, and reheated with the microwave, or they were thawing the meet. Either way, no reason we should have even had to think that way. Decor showed dust and cob webs. We walked out before our food was served. Never again.

Place has been in business for 40yrs. One of our favorite places for Mexican food. It’s your standard Mexican fare, nothing fancy. Good portions and beer and wine. Great place for a couple or a crowd.

Keep driving!! This place is gross. Salsa from a pitcher and beans that look like soup. The margarita if you can call it that was missing the main ingredient tequila, the bar looks like something you find in a basement.

Good, authentic Mexican food. Nice small restaurant for a date. They do not accept cards, so use cash or check. We will be coming back.

Old school style of cooking. Like MaMa. Keep driving by if you want fancy pancy and higher prices instead of organic flavor food with a Family style feeling. I know. Chicago sister owned Great Lake Pizza in Chicago. Maybe coming to Detroit soooon… yahhhhj
