El Epazote was recommended to me by a friend. The restaurant is small but the food is delicious. They don’t have a crazy huge menu which I think allows them to concentrate on their house specialties. I was with a party if 4, We all ordered different things and each one of us loved our dish. If you follow me, you know I rarely give 5 stars but this place deserves it. I think I might go back tomorrow! I had the Empanada Verde with Sesina meat….and I loved it!

Yes, yes, yes! Great food and super friendly people. I love Mexican food, so getting something unusual was really fun and very delicious. First of all, the place is in what looks to be like an old Taco Bell, which was fun. Everybody who talk to us was friendly and nice. We ordered the Huarache with Asada. It had a thicker masa-like tortilla underneath (like a pancake). On top was lettuce tomatoes, avocado and thinly sliced asada. We also got the Tlaydita, which had a harder shell (sort of like a tostada, but different consistency). The pastor that was on top was phenomenal .They had a dessert that looked fantastic, but we had to go to a play. I also got the pumpkin agua fresca, which I had never had. If you are in Madera, check it out.

Came here because I kept getting ads for delicious looking food in my Instagram feed. I finally got a chance to come here and I was super impressed. The gentleman and the lady that helped to take our order were super friendly and helpful with questions and suggestions. They refilled our glasses and brought us items before we even got a chance to ask. The place was renovated inside and out and looks great. Clean tables and redone floors along with privacy screens for those dining outdoors.

It was my first time eating here. I went for breakfast with My Mom and tried their chilaquiles. Good size portions and spicy which is pretty typical for this dish. It was very good. Will go again. The staff is super friendly, the place was very clean and had a ver comfortable atmosphere.
