My husband is puerto rican and I’ve been to puerto rico with him. Their mofongo is on point! The fried pork with mofongo is so delicious! Also the tostones and empanada is kind of similar of how my mother in law make them. Food is delicious, has good flavor the food is freshly cook and the service is quick. The server is also polite even tho he only talked to my husband in spanish lol Overall experience is great! You should give them a try guys. They are very similar to what I have in Puerto Rico because their chef here is Puerto Rican. :)) Don’t mind the bad reviews down there. I don’t trust some of them to be honest unless I experience them myself. 🙂

It was a cold, wintery Sunday when we walked into the restaurant. We felt sorry for the server. Super nice and helpful guy. He was running the front of the house by himself. We ordered three different dishes. I had the special Bisteak with yellow rice and both types of plantains. Boss lady and Jr boss lady had different pork dishes. The pork had great flavor but was very dry. The yuca chips were too thin, really dry and not salted. One of my biggest pet peeves!

Wepa! Super awesome service from everyone I felt at home in my island with love! Then the food omg I got bacalaitos, alcapurria, pastellillo de pizza y cuajitos con guineitos and they took me home super delicious! Mi esposo got the bistec sándwich and he loved it! We took home a flan de queso q estaba súper rico! Will be back and take the 50 minutes drive there for sure!!
