As for Mexican in Milan, TN, this is our usual go to these days. Food is the best, service is also good. Atmosphere doesn’t really do anything for me, but it doesn’t have to. If you are looking for atmosphere try takos burakos or don poncho’s in Jackson.

I rate them a zero stars!!!!! Horrible service and the owner got smart with me and said that they deserve at least an 18 percent tip just for serving the food. My mother had 3 dollars she left as a tip and they smeared sour cream on it and threw it on the counter. I called the cops on them. The asked for us to not come back. I responded no worries about a return trip there EVER.

First I’d like to say the wait staff was nice and very on top of things. The food was what I would expect from a Mexican restaurant. I being Mexican myself know what authentic food taste like and it was perfect as if I made it at home. My only real complaint is that we were charged extra for having a large party of 5 when it was me my spouse and 3 of my 5 kids. That isn’t a large party by no means. Then we were charged for every drink refill and a gratuity tax for the tip. One thing I will say is that if you’re going to charge a gratuity tax then don’t get mad if I do t leave a tip on the table. I’m known to tip 20-50% of my ticket price so don’t assume I owe you that because of the size of my family. I will cook at home before I pay these prices anymore.

I honestly have no idea how this place has more than one star. The food is mediocre at best and the service is atrocious. Our waiter today was above and beyond rude. One of the parties at our table was charged $26 for 4 tacos and a dessert. The other party was basically told that they weren’t going to fix their order even though the kitchen sent out the wrong food. The manager stalked our table nd kept glaring at us while we sat and talked after eating. It was absolutely the most bizarre dining experience ever. I’m not exactly sure how they maintain 2 locations considering the low quality food and the pathetic customer service. I’m sure there are other restaurants who appreciate their customers and I’ll take my business to them the next time I visit the area.
