For tacos barbacoa or carnitas, their is no better place in the DMV then this restaurant. Tortillas are warm and fluffy, lots of juicy meat, lots of cilantro and onions. Salsa is nice and spicy and it’s just amazing. Came here by recommendation from my friend who is from Mexico who swears by this place. Also the staff are so friendly. The food and service was excellent! The tacos are packed with a lot of meat and flavor; we tried the chorizo, lamb, carnitas, and carne asada. The lamb stew/consommé was also delicious; the small bowl was quite filling.

El Garage is a hidden gem in Manassas located in an old strip mall. I ordered the carne asada, carnitas and chorizo sopes. The food was delicious.

Pretty close to authentic Mexican. The issue is we’re in Virginia.so the ingredients and quality is not what you’d get in the Southwest. Otherwise this is great food, great tacos, the salsa is on point! Recommend if you know tacos.

Great kitchen/buffet style dining. The carnitas is on point and the Asada is great. If you have been craving home made tortillas , look no further then El Garage. The dining is casual and they even have a little mangoneada stand right inside the restaurant.
