We went for lunch on 7/1. The service and management were great. The owner (we think) came to check on us as well. The food was fantastic! Definitely stop in if you are traveling through or make the trip over! We had the tacos Al Pastor for an appetizer-wonderful, fresh pineapple in it-so good. And we had the special- chicken enchilada platter. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Will definitely be going back, and are already telling anyone that will listen!

You gotta come here! Very delicious place to eat. We’ve eaten here 3x, and each has been a good experience. The price point is very reasonable for the portion sizes. I’ve eaten at many Mexican restaurants across different states, and El Gran Patron has easily become one of (if not THE) BEST Mexican restaurants in my personal opinion. Ever. From the menu, we’ve tried all the tacos, the guac, the enchilada mojada, and the torta asada — all incredible! (Was chowing down when I realized I should’ve taken pics lol). This place is both authentic and delicious, and I hope they stick around for a long time.

So we went here on Sunday 8/6 for our friend’s birthday gathering. There was 11 of us all together. I called to give them heads up. They easily acommodated our party. The food was amazingly delicious! The service we received from the young man whose name is Cody was outstanding! He knew the menu well and answered any questions we had. He was friendy, happy and kind. We had a great experience at the El Gran Patron.

I will start with the minimal downs before listing all the good. There is a surcharge for using a card, the only beverages are Bottled or canned and they didn’t have queso. That being said, I still give it 5 stars because the food is out of this world. The menu looks expensive at first glance, but I’m 38 weeks pregnant and still could only eat half a burrito! Every ingredient in the El Patron burrito was flavorful and well done. Rice to meats to guacamole – every single thing tasted incredible. This burrito comes with 2 meats, so I got chicken and Carne asada. My husband got 2 steak and 2 enchilada pork tacos and loved them both. We also got guacamole and chips, and the chips were warm and freshly made. Usually the chips at a restaurant aren’t even worth commenting on, but these were delicious even on their own. The attention to detail and top of the line ingredients were apparent in everything we ate today.

Amazing Mexican atmosphere and food. We ordered the birria tacos, the carnita tacos, and torta asada. Wait type was actually minimal considering how busy they were. Waiters were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was the best Mexican food I’ve had in this area so far I definitely recommend anyone coming here and trying this place. It was my first time coming but certainly not the last!

Don’t judge a book by its cover! The outside of the building looks old and a little run down. But on the inside it is clean and beautifully painted. The staff were all nice. The food was good and had lots of flavor definitely will be going back again.

My rather large family was looking for a restaurant near by to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday. The workers were so helpful in getting tables together for all of us. The food was delicious. And the fresh chips and glaucoma is a must to get.
