This is the best taco truck I have ever eaten at!!! I love the carnetas. My son always gets the stake and my daughter always gets the quesadillas. Also they have elotes which are amazing That’s basically a corn on the cob with cheese and mayonnaise and all kinds of amazing stuff on it I love it sometimes they do the cups sometimes they do the cops it’s right by the big four bridge. Which is awesome awesome place to take the kids to and enjoy the day or night free at that the people that own this truck are awesome and the best cooks ever love this place my number one

Great tacos! I am so happy I stumbled on these guys. I had the Carne Asada tacos – very fresh and authentic. Their red sauce has a bit of a kick to it, but just right for my taste. Will definitely visit again.

Was passing through town and looked at some reviews and El Gran Tako had high ratings. It was a short walk from the hotel I was staying at. Ordered 3 different tacos and elote in a cup. Pricing was good and food was even better. Wait was 20 minutes (I do believe they have a call-in option).

Amazing little taco truck in an unassuming location. Delicious meats (I usually get chicken, but have tried carnitas, al pastor, and chorizo) with generous portions and bursting with flavor. I would 100% recommend the tacos! I have also tried the quesadilla and burrito which are huge but also delicious, though tend to be a bit on the greasier side probably due to all the cheese! I have tried a torta once and liked it, but am not as well versed in tortas so cannot really say how this one compares with others.

My bf had a medical emergency outside while we were eating and the staff was so helpful and accommodating. They brought us a soda to get his sugar up, ice in a bag to cool down, and offered to call parademics for us AND the food was bomb!!

Can’t say enough about this place having delicious and pretty well priced tacos. I’ve not only brought my friends and family to this place but I would recommend it for anyone in the Kentuckiana area. They’re authentic and portions are good! Staff is really nice too.

Don’t expect the owners to fix mistakes they made over charging (even with proof). They will instead accuse you of not wanting to pay taxes . I bought a chicken quesadilla that is $ 10 according to the menu (which I was charged $10.50) a burrito according to menu is $10 ( I was charged $ 10.50) two tacos @ $3.50 each an esquite @ $3.50 and two cans of coke sodas @ a $1.00 each. I was charged a total of $41.50 for my order I understand the taxes of course no problem with that , but when I’m being charged over $6.00 in taxes something isn’t right. The total came up to $33.50 tell me why we were charged $41.50 even with taxes it shouldn’t be that much. When I called to ask why I was over charged the lady (owner) got defensive and accused me of not wanting to pay taxes and that she pays a lot of money for her business to the IRS and yelled at me and said ( only my own people do this to me ) very rude and unprofessional excuses ma’am I’m not one of your peoples sorry! They have poor customer service in my book if you can’t even handle a simple mistake by apologizing and correcting it the next time. Won’t go again after being treated in such a way.

The meat and took were good on the Pastor torta but the bread they use really detracts from the taste. Really didn’t like the bread, enough that I ended up taking it off to eat which defeated the purpose of getting it as a torta. It was very strong doughy flavor and was much stronger taste than the food, which made everything taste gross. I would try again with their tacos maybe because the meat was good and the people were nice. I am quite sad about the torta though
