I went here for lunch. I got the Beef Chili Relleno from the lunch menu. It was really good. Their chips and salsa are good as well. But probably the most delightful part of my experience was the fantastic service I received from Mari. The entire staff was great.

This place is always packed and we thought why not let’s check it out. The chips and salsa were good and flavorful. We got our food and most of it was just not as good as it should be, I’ll go out on a limb and say lots of canned or processed items here. The staff was all kinda just there no smiles or excitement not to happy to be doing their jobs. Sorry guys but I tried to enjoy it.

We picked up food at this restaurant recently and quite frankly, it was not edible in our opinion. Hadn’t been there in quite some time and was hoping they had improved. I’m not sure what was going on with the beans. Looked suspicious and tasted worse. The enchiladas were covered with some kind of cheese sauce that was just not good. Sorry to leave such a terrible review but we paid $27.00 for food that ended up in the trash.

Absolutely the worst service. Asked about our food after 35 minutes and waitress got rude and said she doesn’t cook it. Will never return under any circumstance. 45 minutes to get food. Given military discount for our troubles but the over all attitude of everyone there ruins the place totally.

Service was slow, not too busy. We had to go ask about menus, napkins, silverware. Food was bland, not enough spices or flavor. We have been here a few times before, and the food was good. (maybe it was the selection) We did have excellent company, so that made it all better.

We had wanted to try this place for awhile. We had Chicken Flautas, and they came with rice and beans. We were not impressed with the salsa or queso dip. The service was good and the waitress was very attentive. The restaurant has a lot of windows, so it was well lit.

This is our go to spot in Azle! The staff Is very friendly! The salsa is spicy, but that’s what we like! They use fresh jalapeños In the Pico, it’s also spicy, and we like that as well! I usually get the lunch fajitas! I’d say its a large portion and they’re very good! Calm environment.

We were seated promptly. The atmosphere was simple and nice, the server was friendly. We were one of 4 tables there (we got there early). Family was starving!!! The chips were fresh and the salsa was good.Happy hour called for a peach margarita for myself and a watermelon margarita for the hubby. Took a while for them to come out but they were very good! Queso came out quickly and was tasty. My husband ordered the fajita nachos which he really enjoyed. The kids each ordered a kids burrito. Neither came out correct. I ordered the chimichangas, which looked great! I cut into it and there was so much grease that poured out it made it inedible. If anyone knows me I live a good greasy fried item more than I should!!! This was way too much. Please see the picture, that was after one cut with the fork. When brought to the attention of the waitress I was asked “what do you want me to do with it?” I politely explained that it was likely dropped prior to the oil being hot enough and the grease was soaked up by the tortilla. I didnt want another just taken off the ticket. I explained that the kids burritos were both made wrong but we would eat those. She said she had no idea how those could have gotten “messed up”. We again told her we had a Togo order. Placed it and asked for our ticket. She put in the order for vegetable enchiladas and brought our ticket with a charge for spinach enchiladas on it. I walked to the front to try and correct the error prior to the order being made. I received a corrected ticket paid for our meal and received our Togo order. (I was told later by the recipient (my older mother) that it was very good!)

Food was okay. The Guiso was a bit on the salty side and the chili relleno was just drowning in cheese. Good salsa and queso. Chips are fresh and the rice and beans were pretty good. I’m always excited when there is something different on the menu other than the typical TexMex, so I was pretty happy about the Guiso. May try something different next time.
