Worst Mexican food ever. Zero flavor. Asked for a Nacho appetizer and since it was $11.50 I thought it would be melted cheese on warm chips. I got 4 bags of chips, a little cup of cold Jack cheese and a tub of guacamole. $25 of pure flavorless garbage.

Nothing fancy at this local regional food chain. There are at least five locations and I believe the first is in Redwood City off El Camino. That place is a dive but great food. Each successive location has been a little nicer and more modern.. This location has a full bar. Don’t go if you are looking for a cool hip place to hang out. The food is the star at all locations. My favorite, a plain taco. Served with your choice of carne asada, Pollo or carnita, diced onions, cilantro and hot sauce. They have a full menu of other food, and everything I have tried so far has been great.

have liked El Grullense tacos for a long time, I remember several years ago that we had come out of the events we ate tacos in their place that was for 5th Ave in Redwood City. This time I ordered 3 Camaron tacos and a Mango water which was very good and I recommend it, although the place was very busy they served us quickly.
