The pupusas were delicious. It was busy but the staff was still very attentive.

What I had was good, but had language barrier issues when ordering. Ordered empanadas, but never got them. Many things on the menu were out which was disappointing. Will try again and hopefully will have a better experience.

All of the food was delicious! Service was good, atmosphere cool, had live music when we were there. I would’ve been happy with just a bowl of their rice! TASTY!

This was my first time coming in to this location. I usually go to the guanaco in lake street. I unfortunately had a bad experience at this location. I was so excited to get my pupusas. I came in and looked at other things in the menu because I wanted to try something new. I asked the cashier about there tamales he told me their chicken. I said just chicken ? Any seasoning or salsa that’s in there ? He told me “we aren’t like Mexicans” I found that disrespectful. Not to mention I am Mexican. I bought 5 pupusas a 3 revuelta and 2 pork with cheese. I payed for my food and waited around 30 minutes.(honestly there was no people in there just me (I got there first) and another couple) Which I usually wait 15 minutes at the lake street location. Anyways,I took my food home and when I started eating it I noticed the rice pupusas didn’t have anything in there it literally was a tortilla. So my curiosity I looked and my other ones. Basically had 2 pupusas with nothing in it and 3 pupusas with barely chicarrón and cheese beans. Overall I will not return to this location I will definitely keep going to the one in lake street they are quick efficiently and respectful to their customers. ALSO THEIR PORTIONS ARE GREAT.

Food is awesome but why are they playing mexican music? I thought it was a Salvadoran restaurant! Play some cumbia or anything else but mexican music it’s just disgusting

I leave zero stars if I could. The waitress with black long hair is absolutely rude. She was also the one taking my order and put in order incorrectly. It was a simple order given in Spanish, her native language. She argued with me that I put it correctly with a sarcastic smile on her face. Remember this is the same waitress who never smiles or says a word. The only reason this restaurant is still open it’s because they primarily cater to Salvadorean community and they don’t have any competitors. The restaurant is dirty, the food is mediocre for the price, but what makes it worst is the waitress attitude. Awful service, I also had an item missing. If you absolutely need to there, check your receipt twice. As far the waitress is concerned, nothing to do there; she was the only on waiting the tables today around 11:00am.

Greatfood ! Just don’t play mexican music over and over, it’s a salvadoreno restaurant not a taco place. Gracias.

I don’t know what it is about this place but it’s been extremely loud every time I’ve gone in there (whether it be the loud TV or a live band playing guitar and xylophone) and that’s off-putting. As others have mentioned, there are language barrier issues and they tend to get orders wrong. I ordered chicken soup and was given stewed chicken with rice but let it go because I was in such a hurry.
