Great food, prices are right, and service is superb. I must have been to this small restaurant 20 times now, and I have never been disappointed with my experience. I highly recommend coming here for a quick lunch or breakfast. I am thankful El Habanero has come to my community. I wish them great success here.

Husband and I went for a bike ride and stumbled upon this quaint place next to Publix. As huge supporters of mom-n-pops, we gave it a try. Beyond fresh and delish! I have to say… I came here last week in person and it was great… Super friendly and food was delicious. However…today I called in to order and the lady (claims she’s the owner) was very rude on the phone. Almost like we were bothering her… We were ordering a simple breakfast sandwich…. I understand it may not be on the menu but if a customer who has access to uber eats… Door dash. Etc decides to spend his money in a local business by calling for a pick up you make them what they ask for. I guess she must be really doing well to alienate a guest who wants a Bacon egg and cheese sandwich… Lol… It’s not what you say but HOW you say it… We are the customer, telling us… I’m going to charge you for each item cause we don’t make that… I’d rather you just say… Sorry that is not on the menu but you came across as arrogant and just ignorant . I am also a Latino and I respect all Latin business owners but you definitely spoke to the wrong one this morning. I will order from another establishment right down the street from you and happily give them my money. Crazy to think that a store owner would sound so damn cranky… If you are having a bad day then stay home! Your loss.. U lost not only my business but all my friends and family. Good luck with your business… Maybe next time learn how to better speak with your customers.

Wow, que rico! We were in the West Kendall area early morning and Googled where to get a great Cuban breakfast. El Habanero popped up and we decided to try it. It was delicious, -everything we had was! Huge portions and awesome, friendly service. But OMG, those croquetas de bacalao!! I love that it’s owner operated and they take pride in our telling them how much we enjoyed it. We will definitely be back!

The food is great and the prices are just right. I just choose not to go back because the seating is extremely uncomfortable. The tables are the tall ones normally used in bars and the those bar stools are too tall and small.
