We went in and had the breakfast buffet. We had like 40 minutes until it was over. I asked if they where going to put more menudo and the waitress said no we don’t have anymore. As we where about to leave after the buffet hours a man came in and he got the buffet and got a big plate of menudo. The staff was taking their lunches so the staff was slow. Not a lot of variety on the buffet. We had been here when they first opened and it was a great place but we will not be coming back again.

Horrible took forever to get my food (45 minutes), for just 2 takeout orders. Not to mention I was the only customer there. After 30 minutes I get the first order that sat there for 15 minutes until I got the second order. When I asked the waitress why it was taking so long she responds “next time call in your order.” Well I would call it in if she didn’t keep the phone off the hook! Oh and at 30min of waiting the owner’s family of 10 ppl walk in, start picking and eating out of the buffet, gross. Never again.

We were a group of 6 all orders were placed at the same time, but they came out sporadically. Mine was the last and my tortilla got to my table as I was almost done with my breakfast. I wouls understand if there was a rush hour croud but there only a few customers. Food was good though.

Ordered 4 bbq tacos for $30. I get home and two of them have half the serving than the others. I call to let the lady know. The owner tells me that I can come back for the rest of the grams that they didn’t put because there’s 100 grams of bbq in each taco. Like let me go buy a scale to make sure it’s right. I let her know that my other tacos are going to get cold because they’re intented to eat with my family. I asked her if she could replace my order so I can eat them fresh when I get home. She says no I cannot do that. All I can do is give you the grams we didn’t put. That’s it. “Nimodo” Plus I would have to go pick them up too. I asked for my refund cos I was done with this lady. She denied me my refund even after I told her I would take her back the nimodo tacos. Very disappointed. First time trying this place and definitely the last time. This place should be called “Nimodos” because that’s what you get when you eat from here.

The food here is good, I recommend get the buffet instead of something from the menu because is cheaper and of course is buffet. Update 02/23/18 they removed the buffet so know I don’t think is a good option as it was, apparently they were not doing enough money to keep the buffet, it’s a shame.

Its not what i expected. the carne guisada was hard, the refried beens ran like water, and the nopales were bland with no flavor. the water was good it didnt have that chlorine taste.

No. Please find another place. Sloppy food 2 items on the Buffet. One kind waitress the other will pretend you are invisible if she doesn’t like you. Food is also bland. So sorry.

Great little lunch buffet you’re in and out of there $7.99 certainly recommend if you find yourself on Alta gloor in Brownsville you’re hungry for Mexican food it’s a bargain I believe the hours are 11 to 2 p.m.
