First time here and from other reviews, it was indeed an authentic spot for tacos, rice plates and tortas. We tried a little off everything and did take out but I ordered in person. Next time I’ll dine in to get the full experience. That said, the mom and pop run store is so cozy and nice. They mentioned 20-25 minutes wait but served us chips and dip while we waited and water, as if I was dining in. So hospitable and friendly.

This establishment prioritizes authenticity over fancy presentation. It is a charming mom and pop restaurant that offers both delicious food and great service. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience there. Although the beef dish lacked a bit of flavor and was not as juicy as we had hoped, it was still enjoyable. On the other hand, the clay pot coffee was absolutely delightful. We are definitely planning to return in the future.

This place is too good. You know the tacos are good when they use double corn tortillas. The steak was immaculate and the Guacamole portion was huge. Not enough chips though but you can always ask for more. Great vibes, I’ve gone 3 times in five days.

This place feels more like a take out resturant. There are some things to be desired about the decor, but food is most important right?! We didnt have much expectations. We ordered guacamole, tacos al Pastor, El huraches special, and quesadillas. The guacamole was really tasty, good amount of avocado flavor with a hint of spice. They didn’t give enough chips for a large sized order. We asked for more chips. When our drinks came we got bottles of water. We thought we would get tap water but they informed us, we don’t serve tap water because we don’t have filtered water in the back. Never been to a place that water isnt free for dine in. The El huraches dish was overwhelming with onions and the meat was chewy and fatty, I think it was beef. The quesadillas had a thick outer layer, it was bland not too much flavor. The tacos were bland as well. We were happy with the guac but mostly disappointed with the rest of our experience. We probably will not revisit this place.

We finally have a great Mexican spot locally!! The Al Pastor was heavenly with it’s sweet and savory flavors, The Chorizo was lean on fat but big on flavor and the Steak had the perfect balance of char and juiciness. The toppings on all 3 were fresh and vibrant with flavor. The place is family run and they are very eager to please so you will get great service and fantastic food. There are plenty of tables and chairs and they will group them together for larger parties. No more driving to Corona/Jackson Heights for Taco Tuesdays.

Have been wanting to stop by since they opened and finally decided to order take out on the way home – from the ordering experience online to the service as at the restaurant – this place is AMAZING! Staff is super nice and polite, food is super delicious and portions are plenty! Definitely recommend and will definitely be back to try out breakfast items in the future!
