Great place to enjoy a drink and good food. I absolutely love you can sit at the bar. They always have some good ol country music playing. Have been eating here 10+ years. Service is outstanding..

The skewered, grilled shrimp was actually frozen boiled shrimp thrown on the grill. It had a dried out piece of something that looked like fryed melted cheese, stuck on one side. It was very overcooked and served cold. No skewers. The rice was dried out as well, and the side salad wilted.

The tacos were awesome. We ordered from the special board behind the register.

It’s exactly what I think of when it comes to a local Texmex restaurant. They’ve had the same workers since I’ve been out here at the lake (3yrs). They are polite, and diligent. The food is consistently delicious, fulfilling, and served quickly, but always fresh. The refried beans have the right amount of lard, the rice is always soft, and you can pick any menu item… It will come out right. I always get a big red margarita 🙂

Food has been sitting too long or something. My husband ordered beef enchiladas and it tasted the way I would imagine my childrens dirty diapers would. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and they were ok. We will not be returning.

I was taking my mother and grandmother to lunch for Mother’s Day. When we got in, we were seated and we’re looking through the menus. When we were ready, no one came to take our orders. So after some time, I got up to find the waitress and saw her with the others leaning back talking until I said, “can we have a waitress please”. One came and took our orders. My mother and I order the carne asada and said we both wanted it rare and my grandmother had the taco salad. When we got our food, both of our carne asada were not rare but was fully cooked and not how we wanted it and my grandmothers salad was soggy. It was dripping so much juice that it fell apart. Our waitress was being rude when my mother told her about her carne asada that she asked to take it back and remove it from the ticket. So my mother couldn’t enjoy the lunch and we felt disrespected.

A good friend was having his 50th bday dinner and invited a few friends to celebrate. I contacted Ashley and requested her help surprising him with a taco platter in the shape of “5 0”.
