Service was good but not super good…

Decent service. The white servers were less friendly than the latinas. The food was ok. Smaller potions than expected. I like the atmosphere.

I’m actually still here writing this review. Good food, good prices, tasty margaritas. But the staff is AWESOME! We are having so much fun and our server, David, is funny and extremely competent. 10/10 will come again!

Went and knew from the start it would be bad. Few people there but they jamb you together so no privacy. I ordered the food but people with other wattreses got their food first even though they ordered after us. We waited and finally complained at which time they brought our cold food. What they brought was also wrong and left out items ordered. The waitress apologized for the delay but she said they were busy (lie as other person’s got their food fast). The bill came for the overpriced food, had the items I ordered on it, but never got. I see this location being closed like prior restaurants. Save your money and go to 23rd or 77 for Mexican food.

Disappointing for us. Food wasn’t good. My neighbor’s tacos barely had anything on them and everything was bland. The rice was not even warm. The refried beans and cheese was okay, but then that tastes the same wherever one goes!!! Our server made us feel as though we were imposing on her. We were so hoping that it would be a good place to frequent, but unfortunately, it is not. We won’t be going back.

I was telling folks the same thing. Being a new establishment I found the American waitresses had their noses in the phones while the Latinos were down to business. They should stay authentic. This is my second visit and it was good. Great prices and large portions.

Great to awesome experience every time I come here. The restaurant stays clean with excellent tasting food, lots to choose from and very fast. There are other places to get Mexican food but this is my definite pick in all of Panama City.

Based upon my experience from today, I would give it 0 stars if I could, but the staff was pleasant so I guess it deserves 1 star. A friend recommended this place and I stopped by there on one occasion just to try their chips and salsa and it was soooo good. One of the workers raved about the food there and recommended that I stop in and try one of their meals, so I did. I ordered the taco dinner, which included 3 tacos, rice and beans. To start off, my rice and beans were room temperature. The cheese wouldn’t even melt all the way on the beans. I absolutely HATE room temperate food. My taco shells tasted like they had been sitting out uncovered for days…..they were so stale. And the ground beef was cold. I tried to stomach it, but the more I thought about that I was paying $8.99 for something that I wouldn’t want to give to a dog, I decided to bring it to the manager’s attention. He nicely offered to change out my order, but at that point, I didn’t want anything else from the restaurant so he refunded me for the food instead. This was my first and last time eating a meal from there. Not sure if I caught them on a bad day, but regardless, it’s unfortunate. I was hoping that I would have good Mexican Restaurant to frequent in the Callaway area….nope, back to some of the better Mexican restaurants on the other side of town.

Not too hot. El Jalisco is better. Food was just okay, and every dish we had at our table had some type of “sweet” flavor. Couldn’t quite nail it down, but not what you want from your Mexican food.
