We were recommended this place for good Quesabirrias. We ordered 2 horchatas, tacos, quesabirras with consume, frijoles charros, and a burrito To-go. The food was fast and DELICIOUS!!!! The salsas were yummy the orange one was my favorite. I had to try the frijoles charros I will have to get a bigger size next time. I can’t wait to try more things on their menu.

First day doing the #KCKTacoTrail. Stopped at El Jefe and it is SO GOOD! recommend! Quesobirria taco was the best I’ve had yet – crispy, meaty, perfect pull to the cheese. The red salsa is like my aunt Rosie’s ( ) and the frijoles charros like my aunt Jesse’s. I am obsessed. It’s a tiny spot. Service is friendly. Restrooms are gender neutral. Prices are great.

Amazing quesabirria!! I’m so glad I decided to try this place. I was craving something different and wanted to try a birria taco for the first time. I loved all the fresh ingredients and how the plates are put together. Wonderful owners and the hours are VERY convenient. Thank you for the great service.
