The food is AMAZING here and the prices are great. I’m just glad I found this place while visiting south padre. Authentic Mexican food with great service. I tried most of the items on the menu and everything was delicious. We came back 4 days in a row for brunch and dinner. Really nice manager and servers.

Went in for breakfast, and was very impressed with the meal. I had the barbacoa plate with corn tortillas, and it exceeded my expectations. Service was excellent, prices were very good, and I can’t say enough to do the food justice. For those seeking a great breakfast at a good price, this is the place. The location itself is nothing to get too excited about, but if you’re choosing your meals based upon decorations and such, you’re doing it wrong. Authentic meals like this are one of those things that if you know… you know. If you don’t, you’ll go someplace else and get served some generic plate of food dressed up pretending to be the real deal. El Jefe is the real deal.
